For Harrison fans, the juxtaposition of ambient instrumentals and Harrison compositions is a little weird, but not as jarring as the new age arrangements of Harrison songs themselves. The original orchestrated film music score & arrangements are by Steve Wood & Daniel May and is absolutely beautiful, hypnotic & spiritually uplifting. But! The big surprise is that a number of ex-Beatle George Harrison's music is incorporated and interwoven magically into the other music. George's song "Life Itself" is the silver thread throughout a number of the soundtrack's music. George is not performing new guitar tracks or new variations of his past works, samples are used as with "This Is Love". The musician's ensemble perform various Harrison songs that are spun in their own golden beauty against marvelous orchestrations. My Fave?
