J.J. Cale recorded for the British independent label Silvertone Records from 1989 to 1992, recording the albums Travel Log and Number 10. The albums represented a resurgence of Cale in the music world after a seven year hiatus and reestablished him among his many fans. All fourteen tracks from Travel Log are included while 11-of-12 from Number 10 appear (missing only Digital Love). Whether the music is bluesy, jazzy, country, rock (or country rock), folk, or tinged with Spanish or even Flamenco guitar flavors, once you hear that guitar or the voice, you immediately know it's JJ Cale - an incredibly humble man whose very nature has inspired a deep emotional connection with die-hard fans worldwide.
